About this pro

I started playing tennis by the age of four years old. My family and I have played our whole lives in Michigan where I became a top ranked junior player. At the age of 17 my tennis background payed off and I was able to get a full ride scholarship to play division 1 college tennis at Michigan State University. At the time I was the number one recruit out of Michigan for my class. In college I had success becoming an All-American reaching the final 4 at the 2015 NCAA tournament. During my college career I was also able to obtain a professional ranking on the ATP tour as well as other awards. I have been teaching tennis part time throughout my life and have worked at multiple clubs around Michigan. I work with players of all ages and abilities and will help improve any game. I like to implement fun into my lessons with quality so that the experience is rewarding and worthwhile.

Very knowledgeable and a great player who has played at every level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First off I get to know the player and what goals they have. Then I hit with the player and find out what needs to be tweaked to ensure quality results.

How did you get started teaching?

As a player I had frequent requests to hit with younger players and older players to help theirs games. As a result I began making a side gig for myself.

What types of students have you worked with?

multiple college players and other top rated junior player and even beginners.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look at their experience and playing history to find a person who knows what they are talking about.
