I have played every level of tennis including playing at Michigan State Univeristy where I reached the 2015 final four at the NCAA championships becoming an all American. After college I was able to break into the world rankings with victories over top 700 players. Ive been teaching 15 years now.
I work with players of all abilities and ages. I meet the player wherever they are and share my skills and background. Im happy to help and can't wait to get started!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First off I get to know the player and what goals they have. Then I hit with the player and find out what needs to be address and go from there in the most efficent method possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a USPTA Pro certfiied coach. I also player USTA juniors growing up which landed me a scholarship at Michigan State University. At MSU I became the number one singles player and was awarded ALL-American honers my junior year reaching the NCAA Final 4. After school and currently I am still playing professional tennis.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons depending on the travel and number of players vary. if the student comes to me I try to stick to 60 dollars an hour and it goes down from there based on number of students. I am open to group lessons as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been in and around the sport of tennis my whole like (28 years) and have recieved world class coaching which i hope to share with others.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look at their experience and playing history to find a person who knows what they are talking about.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
