My love of guitar has always stemmed from my desire to play music that I find personally engaging. Over the years I have played many styles of music in many contexts but the simple excitement that comes from replicating something exciting is still the driving force behind my desire to play. My hope is to help create a similar connection for my students, to provide materials that feel personally import and engaging, and to add on to that passion by exposing players to exciting new music. Our instructors seek to give students a thorough understanding of their instrument while teaching them to play music they enjoy. Our lessons follow a basic outline that is personalized to match each individual’s musical taste and ability. Most importantly, we believe playing an instrument should be fun: when playing becomes fun, so does learning.
