What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get down to the fundamentals. Work are way up to full swing plane. Golf is a work in progress and every step of the way we work to get better
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a golf professional for 3 years at a resort in Wisconsin. I went to college for golf management. Still currently golf all the time.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on how many times you would like lessons and packages give you pricing discounts.
How did you get started teaching?
Like I said I went to golf school and at the resort worked at I was the teaching professional. I like watching people get better and enjoying time out on the golf course
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked everywhere from 4 year olds to 60+. From beginner to low handicaps trying to get even lower.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Anytime I work with kids is always a cool event to see them get excited about golf and growing the game.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they don't try and change everything about your swing. Every one has a swing plan they're comfortable with it's the pros job to work with that and make small tweaks to come down on the ball through the swing plane.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Try to find out what you want to accomplish. Is it to lower your handicap. Make better contact with the ball. Course management.
