About
Have officially taught now for about 4 years. Switched to teaching after a carr hittingr in aI ngnother industry. Have played most all my life and have studied the golf swing and how the body moves efficiently and correctly to maximize distance and accuracy. Have worked with both beginingners and advanced players of all ages.
Love seeing immediate feedback from instruction. Seeing students get excited after hitting some good shots is very gratifying to me. Seeing student improve and have fun is the goal. I like using fundamental work and drills to either build or tweak a swing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually begin by asking the student about their golf game i.e. how they play, how much they might play, their issues with their game etc. But mostly what they would like to address and what their goals are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
USTGA Certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Flexible but standard rates are $50 hour that includes written and some video analysis. Package of 3 one-hour lessons is usually recommended for $140.
Follow up on area(s) to work on with drills.
How did you get started teaching?
Have studied the golf swing as a hobby for many years, even when I worked full time in another industry. When my other career changed, I decided working with people teaching and improving their golf game would be fun.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners, through single digit handicaps. Also have run Junior Camps at a local golf course.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
National Drive, Chip and Putt competition.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Know what your goals are as a golfer. Choose an instructor that knows how to tweak your existing swing to improve, or how you can build an entirely new swing.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Again, as they relate to your golfing plans/goals.
