Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

It is important to ask questions to find out what the student is wanting to accomplish.  Once the questions are answered a plan is put into place on how to accomplish those goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our coaches/instsructors are professionals in the field of gymnastics and dance.  Our business is a member of USAG and adheres to a strict set of guidelines to ensure the safety and success of our customers.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Instructors set their rate of private lessons based on their expertise in the field.  The rates range from $50 to $75 per hour.

How did you get started teaching?

Many of our instructors have been teaching all of their lives, whether it is in a classroom, gymnasium or on a field.  They love teaching, no matter the content.  Gymnastics and Dance is their expertise.

What types of students have you worked with?

Our coaches have worked with students from the very beginner level to the National Champion athlete.  We also have instructors whose expertise is working with individuals with special needs.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Safety is number one.  Ask if proper precautions have been made to ensure that the instructor has a child friendly background.  It is important for the student and the instructor to make a quick connection in order to build a solid relationship of successful learning.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Students often times don't have a good sense of the amount of time or effort it will take to learn a gymnastics skills to perfection.  The question to ask is.. "Am i willing to make the time".  Skills come easier with optimal strength and flexibility.  "Am I willing to work at increasing my strength and flexibility"
