Straight A Tutoring
About
I have tutored Spanish at the Language Center at Minneapolis Community and Technical College for two years before transferring to the U of M where I earned my BA in Anthropology and Religious Studies. I have been helping students to improve their grades and their understanding of the material.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to have a chance to sit and get to know each other for a couple minutes at the first session. At that time, I can learn about their goals and their academic strengths and weaknesses. We are then able to make a plan together about how to move forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I attended Minneapolis Community and Technical College, I was trained as a language tutor in the Learning Center there. Students would make appointments or walk in for help. I was able to help them with specific projects or just to improve their language skills.
After receiving graduating from MCTC, I transferred to the University of Minnesota. Pursuing a liberal arts degree requires the writing of many academic papers which can be very intimidating and challenging. I worked with students at the U of M that needed help proofreading and editing their papers, or doing the groundwork and planning necessary to even start to write an academic paper. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA, which I am quite proud of!
