Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am very flexible to the students needs. I offer anything from one lesson, playing lessons, a series of lessons or a 3,6 or 9 month program. I do want to learn as much about each student as I am able to before we start. Current state of their game, where they want their game to be, age, previous injuries or physical limitations and how much time are they willing to invest in making their game better.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching this great game for over 23 years. I started at 15 years old teaching junior golf in Topeka, KS. Since then, I have taught individual and group lessons along with corporate clinics and running my own junior golf programs throughout the years.
What I love most about teaching the game of golf is that you never stop learning about the golf swing!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Individual lessons are $80 per hour. Group lessons depend on the number of participants.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching with my father in his junior golf clinics when I was 15 years old. My entire life has revolved around golf and I love sharing my knowledge of the swing almost as much as I love seeing my students achieve their goals on the course!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with every type of golfer from beginners to tour professionals, juniors and seniors, men and women.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love golf! The Masters is my absolute favorite tournament followed by the Ryder Cup.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Have a good idea of what you want to get out of your lessons. Results come faster when you have a goal to work towards!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
You should ask yourself how much time you are really going to devote to your game apart from lessons. Personal practice time is key to improving your game.
