About
I have worked with pros to young beginners. I was the chairman and head teacher for Wichita junior golf @ MacDonald GC from 1983 to 1986.
My daughter earned a full ride golf scholarship to U of Missouri St Louis due to my teaching. I teach all aspects of the game, including the mental aspects. My son can hit a ball over 300 yards in the air. I started them both at 3.
I was instructed and influencrd by the following teaching professionals. Leland Duke Gibson, Harold Reed, Grier Jones, Gary Clark, Clay Devers, Rodney Nuckllols, and Stan Thirsk.
I enjoy helping young people learn a game that will shape their lives. Watching young students improve and grow mentally is very satisfying.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually start with the short game by chipping, pitching, putting, and bunker play. Than progress to longer wedge play, mid irons and driving. I utilize a lot of David Lee's Gravity Golf instruction because I feel it is easier for the average person to hit it further with less stress on the body. I can teach Ben Hogan techniques as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played the sport for 50 years under the tutelage of some of the best teachers in the midwest including Stan Thirsk, Grier Jones, and Clay Devers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I start young beginners as well as more skilled players off with a free lesson to see if there are good vibes and to ascertain if I am the right person to coach them. After we decide if it's a good match I charge 40 per half hour or 60 for full hour. Playing lessons are 50 plus greens fees. I usually don't watch the time so you usually get a lot for your money.
