My name is David Godchaux. I’ve had a 50 year love affair with Golf. After playing collegiately at Southeastern La.University , I became an Asst. Golf Professional at New Orleans Country Club. I later moved to Chateau Estates Country Club as First Assistant and Teaching Professional. I was a high school golf coach at East Jefferson High School where we won the 5A state championship in 1982. I then coached Delgado Community College’s Golf team. After moving to Baton Rouge to work at University Club as an Assistant I worked with Chuck Winstead LSU’s Golf Coach and several members of the LSU Men’s team. I recently worked with Sean Foley who was Tiger Wood’s swing instructor from 2011-2015. I’ll be happy to meet with you at the site of your choice. $50 for a range lesson and $100 for a playing lesson.

Start with a brief interview and work slowly into the basics of the game and go progressively from there.

Qualifiedfor and competed in US Amateur and Louisiana Open as a Professional. My best score was a 68 at New Orleans Country Club.
