I played college golf at Barton College from 2015-2019, where I worked my way from the #7 seed with a 78 stroke average to the #1 seed, MVP, and 2 time Academic All-American with a 72 stroke average. I played professionally for a year afterwards, and now I love to help others improve their games!
Satisfaction Guaranteed!I have been teaching the golf swing for more than 15 years and have had the same results every time. Golfers who follow the instruction I give will begin hitting longer, straighter shots in the very first session. Most golf professionals are never taught how to teach golf to someone learning the game. They are great golfers but sometimes not very good teachers. If you go and get 10 golf lessons from 10 different golf pros, you will hear 10 diffferent things..I have a system for creating the perfect swing which I've been using for more than 20 years. This system simplifies the golf swing and allows for immediate im

Teaching Philosophy
My passion is golf! I enjoy helping my students improve their games almost as much as I enjoy playing golf myself. Whether it be introducing a beginner to the thrill of a purely-struck shot, watching active players progress and improve their games or helping a competitive player prepare for their next competition, the most important role that I have as your coach is to clearly lay out the steps that are required to take your game to the next level. Golf is not a 'one size fits all' sport. Every golfers physical make-up is different and as a result, so are their golf swings. By ensuring that you fully understand

You show me your swing and I will fix it.
My students usually only need a few lessons with me, depending on their skill level and willingness to practice. I do not have a typical golf instruction process because every person has a different body, every shot is different, every club is different, every shaft is different, every course is different, the grass varies its direction throughout the day or time of year can be dry and patchy.
I am self taught. I spent the last 11 years in intense training. Golf is a sport that requires learning and devotion to master. I have mastered it. I teach people how to use the equipment they currentl

5 Rules for picking your golf teacher
Let’s admit it, sometimes we whine that finding a teacher is as difficult as finding a soul mate. That could be true. If a teacher can’t give a great lesson to students; and you can’t enjoy the company, they won’t likely be hired again, will they? So before you waste your money on unnecessary fees, let’s find out what kind of interview you should be doing with your prospective golf teacher? Here are the 5 rules.
Teaching experience
The number one rule is to have a teacher with the skills and experience needed. What kind of students have they had previously? How old is he? Do they teach regularly or just to kill time? When you find golf teachers from lessons.com, you will obtain this basic information even before you meet them in person – which is an advantage for you as you can quickly sort out your choices.
Teacher that pays attention
Not just the student, but the golf teacher also needs to commit to the lesson. Find an instructor that lives near your home. They save their time, you save yours. Some teachers can have tight schedules in a week, and you should not add another schedule to his. It won’t be good for your lesson if your teacher has the tendency to rush the session. At lessons.com, it is easy to find a nearby teacher just by entering your Charlotte ZIP code.
Meet them in person
Don’t just blindly book a schedule. Rather, meet your candidates in person. Talk about their life and their passion in teaching. An interesting person will have many things to talk about, but know exactly when to say it. Give it 30 minutes of conversation and ask what kinds of lessons they will give. Let’s see if you can enjoy each other’s company and feel connected. Yes, chemistry determines your improvement, too.
Always be skeptical
As an adult, you find it a lot more difficult to trust someone. It’s great to be skeptical. If you can trust this instructor, then give it a go. But if your intuition tells you the opposite, then you should interview another candidate. It’s a common thing for students to ask a lot of questions because they want to improve their knowledge. You can also ask previous students about the teaching styles.
Different teacher, different philosophy
You should decide whether to learn the technique or the feel. Each method has different output for different students, so you can discuss the preference before you pay for the lesson. Some students can respond to certain ways of teaching while others need a different approach. It takes a good teacher to know this trait.
Go to lessons.com and find your teacher!
Now that you know the rules of picking a good golf teacher, you can begin your quest by searching for teachers in Charlotte and have them interviewed one by one. Decide which teacher meets your expectations and who have that great personality and philosophy. And let’s start the golf lesson!
