Hello,
I am a 23 year old college student at UNCA. I have been playing and practicing golf since I was about 3 years old. I have always loved the game and sharing my knowledge with others. I am a scratch golfer and have had lessons throughout my career. I have learned allot about the mechanics of the swings and know how to correct problems with the swing plane due to overcoming my struggles along the way. I will be able to take the knowledge that I have gained on my own along with the knowledge given to me by club pros as well as former tour pros and use that to assist others in gaining a more consistent swing allowing for lower scores given the effort.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is to let the student hit balls for a good baseline to be established. After I diagnose the most crucial flaws I will begin to make simple corrections first then after some of the simple errors have been erraticated we will start to work on the more serious problems. This also depends on the level of the golfer. With a more experienced golfer we will take less time on the basics and hone in on the fine details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taught by some of the best teachers in North Carolina. I have gone through 4 personal swing coaches and have also attended the pinehurst golf academy for 4 years through my years. I have played tournament golf at the amateur level my whole life and that has given me the practical experience to know how to handle the stress that that brings.
