Maracas Montessori

Maracas Montessori is a Spanish-immersion Montessori school in Raleigh, NC, serving children from 15 months to 6 years old in a thoughtfully prepared environment. Programs include the Toddlers Community (15 months to 3 years), the Children’s House (3 to 6 years), and Afternoon Clubs. Afterschool options are available for current kindergarten students and alumni, and a seasonal Summer Camp is offered. School tours are available by appointment, in person or via virtual video conference.

The school’s mission is to enrich children by supporting all areas of their development in a safe, intentionally designed setting where they can discover the pleasure of learning. This is delivered through the Montessori method fully immersed in the Spanish language, promoting respect, independence, and appreciation of the environment.

Maracas Montessori has been led in Raleigh by founder, co-owner, and Academic Executive Director Claudia Casco since 2008.
