About
There are a lot of instructurs to choose from so it's important to find a golf coach to develop all aspects of the game while still enjoying the journey.
I will take a personal interest in accomplishing your goals from better ball striking to course management. I coach to see the excitment on people's faces when they report back to me how much fun they are having with the game.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I prefer to understand my students goals/objectives for the long term. We will continuously work on the swing but understanding the journey and what a student's ultimate goals are will help shape the lessons and set priorities. We start with a baseline and then roadmap how to get to you playing your best golf.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have personally been golfing for over 30 years. I've played in highschool, college and some experience playing on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour as well as a couple mini tour events.
As for intstructing, I was one of the lead intstructors for the Pennsylvania Golf Academy and have provided lessons for thousands of students of all ages and gender.

How did you get started teaching?
Best fiend is a PGA Professional and started the Pennsylvania Golf Academy. I begin teaching at his facility
What types of students have you worked with?
Students of all age and gender. I have worked with all experience levels from just starting to competing at a high level. The more advanced the player, the more technology used to understand the changes and positions for improvement.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have won the championship flight for the Channel Amateur Tour in three events. In addition to playing, I have recently helped a personal friend improve his game and hit it better off the tee. He was on the verge of giving up the game and after a few lessons, he's back to his golf addiction.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would suggest to find an instructor that listens well to what the expectations a student has and build a plan based on those desired results. Some students want a quick fix and there are instructors that will band aid a swing flaw based on the latest trend on the golf channel. The best instructors are interested in the long term objectives of the game and develop the areas of the game to achieve those goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Most students look for lessons because they aren't hitting it great off the tee or had a bad round. Everyone has bad rounds and golf is not an easy game. What students should know going into a lesson is where do they want to see themselves in certain time frames of their golf career. There may be some things to work on in the short term but think about the long term objectives you want.
