I started working with Andrew about a month ago. His understanding of the swing and attention to detail are outstanding. In the very few lessons we’ve had he’s improved my game tremendously and my confidence is through the roof. Certainly looking forward to working with him on a consistent basis.

My experience with Andrew was awesome! He does a really good job of explaining your flaws in the golf swing and helps you understand the swing in a simple form. I couldnt break 100 and now im shooting in the mid 80s.

How did you get started teaching?
My love for golf was sparked at the age seven after attending my first Master’s Tournament with my dad. I can vividly recall Tiger Woods clinching the victory and dreamed of one day being awarded a green jacket of my own. I immediately enrolled in lessons and golfed every chance I got. Fortunately, growing up in Gastonia, North Carolina the seasons are long and courses are plentiful. Still, to my parent’s dismay, I transformed my entire house into a practice putting course!
I went on to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and PGA Golf Management from Campbell University. Since joining the industry in 2014, I have worked at a variety of high-end golf courses including TPC San Antonio, The Olde Farm Golf Club, TPC Piper Glen, Gaston Country Club, and Cedarwood Country Club. While all feature exceptional courses, I have to say that Tobacco Road in Sanford, NC is my favorite golf course due to its quirky design. You are equally nervous and excited at every tee box. It’s a must play!
I am passionate about golf and am looking forward to the opportunity to play and teach year-round, regardless of weather conditions. What I find most fulfilling is watching my students progress—whether they are a beginner taking their first swing or an advanced player refining their skills. Golf is not a 'one size fits all' sport. Every golfer’s physical make-up is different and as a result, so are their swings. By creating a clear understanding of how each golf swing works, the path to a more successful game becomes much clearer.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from the age of 5 up to 85.
