About
I played college golf at Barton College from 2015-2019, where I worked my way from the #7 seed with a 78 stroke average to the #1 seed, MVP, and 2 time Academic All-American with a 72 stroke average. I played professionally for a year afterwards, and now I love to help others improve their games!
I spent time learning under PGA Tour coach George Gankas - one of the best golf coaches in the world (if you don't know who he is, look him up).
I love watching the joy students feel when they start to improve! I remember the satisfaction I felt as I improved as a player throughout high school, college & professionally - and it's fulfilling to help other golfers experience that same feeling. There is so much joy to be experienced in the game of golf, and I want to help others experience that joy!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We'll talk through their goals as a golfer, I'll watch them hit some balls, chips, putts, then we'll put together a plan for improving based on their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked under PGA Tour swing coach George Gankas, as well as Ben Hynson and Nam Padung...I learned how to coach from their teaching, as well as from my own experience as a player in high school, college, and professionally.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $150/hour for instruction.
How did you get started teaching?
I taught at youth golf camps in Pinehurst, NC and Sea Island, GA during summers while I played in college.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with youths age 5-18 (of all skill levels), as well as adults of all skill levels.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about how good you want to be - set some specific goals for your handicap, stroke average, swing speed, whatever you want to improve!
