I played college golf at Barton College from 2015-2019, where I worked my way from the #7 seed with a 78 stroke average to the #1 seed, MVP, and 2 time Academic All-American with a 72 stroke average. I played professionally for a year afterwards, and now I love to help others improve their games!
I love watching the joy students feel when they start to improve! I remember the satisfaction I felt as I improved as a player throughout high school, college & professionally - and it's fulfilling to help other golfers experience that same feeling. There is so much joy to be experienced in the game of golf, and I want to help others experience that joy!
He is freaking awesome! Very calm and supportive which makes asking even the most stupid question feel okay. He is also a big cheerleader which really amps you up for the progress you make. I appreciate him being willing to accept progress updates as well. All around great person and easy to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Easy to schedule with and very knowledgeable on the golf swing. I will recommend him to anyone that needs/wants lessons
Listen ,patient very knowledgeable
Scott knows his stuff. After one lesson he helped me fix some swing flaws. Some video work, alignment sticks and explaining thoroughly what I needed to do in just one hour went a long way for my swing. Excited to keep working with Scott and would recommend him to any type of golfer. Whether you’re new to the game or have played your whole life, Scott can help you.
We'll talk through their goals as a golfer, I'll watch them hit some balls, chips, putts, then we'll put together a plan for improving based on their goals.
I worked under PGA Tour swing coach George Gankas, as well as Ben Hynson and Nam Padung...I learned how to coach from their teaching, as well as from my own experience as a player in high school, college, and professionally.
I charge $100/hour for instruction.
I taught at youth golf camps in Pinehurst, NC and Sea Island, GA during summers while I played in college.
I've worked with youths age 5-18 (of all skill levels), as well as adults of all skill levels.
Think about how good you want to be - set some specific goals for your handicap, stroke average, swing speed, whatever you want to improve!
