About
In these uncertain times, person to person interaction is limited, but it also allows us more time to improve ourselves for when the world reopens. Spanish for me was always a tool of connection, of learning more about the things I love: food, animals, different cultures, and I want to share that with you!
Apps or software programs can work for some learners, but nothing compares to one on one training. I will help you adjust your pronunciation using my over 10 years of learning Spanish in the US, Spain and Panama at the University level which earned my Minor degree in Spanish from Elon University.
Moving away from charts and memorization, i will work with you to develop the 'Spanish Brain.' This will allow you to create the framework for this new language in your brain as we customize your lesson plans. This will allow you to skip much of the time wasted on memorizing verb conjugations or vocabulary you'll never use.
I have tutored beginners through more advanced students, so we can design lesson plans based on your goals and time frames. I look forward to working with you!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The introductory session is a personal meeting, where we go over the student's goals and intentions, tailoring a program to fit their needs / wants. From there I will develop weekly progressions to work through both in session and outside of our time together to maximise the value for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Minor in Spanish from Elon University. There, my coursework included literature / writing courses, immense amounts of spoken presentations and pronunciation work, and immersion studies in Spain and in Panama.
