About
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Master’s in Spanish Literature and Linguistics in 2004 and have been teaching and tutoring mainly high school and adult students ever since.
I've taught various levels of high school Spanish including AP full-time for 5 years and have 12 years of teaching experience at the university level. I've taught beginning and intermediate Spanish language and linguistics classes at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and a continuing education course in Spanish at Wake Tech.
I can use different pedagogical approaches depending on the needs and goals of each individual, and all lessons are tailored to each specific student.
I enjoy working with a variety of students from different backgrounds. It's great to get to know new people and I find the work to be very fulfilling.
