Michael Hutcheon - Head Instructor
Michael returns to Precision Golf with over 40 years of golf experience, most recently as the Director of Golf and Instruction at Jamestown Park Golf Club. Prior to directing operations and instruction at Jamestown he played professionally on numerous North American professional golf tours and was a 3 year member of the Canadian Tour competing with the likes of elite players such as Steve Stricker, Todd Hamilton, Stephen Ames, Kirk Triplett, and Mike Weir. Michael works equally well with all levels of players including beginners, juniors, adults, seniors, and, the elite player.

My goal is to direct each golfer toward a better understanding of the golf swing, making golf more fulfilling for each individual. Worked with nationally recognized instructors from Robert Linville to Mike Bender and Lynn Blake. Extensive experiences both playing and teaching make me the perfect instructor to guide junior golfers looking to develop into collegiate bound golfers.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assess students strengths and weaknesses as well as their optional learning style and then build a program utilizing a learning environment tailored to their learning style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of instructing as well as working with other top professionals in my field. Additionally I have played numerous professional tours.

Make sure to find one that is confident enough to not be a specific method teacher.

They should formulate questions relating to goals they might have regardless of their abilities.
