Garrett Golf

Hello Everyone!

My name is Bart Garrett, and I have a passion to see golfers at all levels improve their games. I provide expert instruction stemming from my past experience in helping my students grasp the fundamentals such as the grip, posture, pivot, and aligning your center.

My teaching has been influenced by many of the top instructors in the game. I assisted in opening the David Leadbetter IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. Also, I taught at Grand Cypress Golf Academy in Orlando, while being tutored by Fred Griffin and the late Phil Rodgers, who was the foremost authority on the short game to PGA tour players. Lee Trevino has been a huge influence on my teaching and playing career. I have worked personally with Mr. Trevino, a six time major champion numerous times when he served as the Pro Emertitus at The Greenbrier.

I would throughly enjoy an opportunity to help you on your path to becoming a more consistent golfer, ballstriker, as well as simplifying your approach to practice and playing.

Golf is an incredibly difficult sport to play consistently no matter at what level. I get great satisfaction in helping my students work on what's most important to them, but I do encourage them to spend 3/4 of their practice time on the short game. An average golfer will shave four to six strokes off their score by implementing the short game principles I teach, that I have learned under the tutelage of Phil Rodgers and Lee Trevino.
