Welcome! I started drawing portraits in 5th grade, primarily using pencil because I appreciate the contrast of dark and light tones. Later on, I became skilled in using charcoal, which offers a different style that enhances the appearance of portraits. Since 2014, I have been teaching portrait drawing to students ranging from 10 years old to adults, focusing especially on beginners. I've taught at local community centers in Apex, NC, and Holly Springs, NC, as well as online through one-on-one sessions and group classes. Expressing myself through art has always been a way for me to have a creative outlet. I have been painting, drawing, sketching, and crafting for the past 17 or so years. Art is something that I have always felt relieved stress and allow for creativity to flow through. No two pieces of are is the same. Each person can look at the same piece of art and at the end of the day have different out looks on them I enjoy looking at a blank canvas and watching my creations come to life as I add color and texture.
