What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Free Introductory class in as many genres as they’d like to try.
work with the student to find out what genre they enjoy, then take it from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our professional Instructors have many years of formal dance training, many trained at the college level with degrees in dance and/or education.
Our Instructors have many years of experience dancing professionally as well as teaching in the classroom.

How did you get started teaching?
Many of our teachers began formal dance training at the age of 2 and continued with their dance education and have now found the calling to teach.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Please do your research.
Become an informed consumer.
Know what a dance studio should be offering and ask about their teaching methods.
Bigger isn’t always better in dance studios and you and your child should feel comfortable and welcome in a dance studio that you choose.
Talk to parents already enrolled at the studio to get their input.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask a lot of questions to your instructor.
Get to know each other.
A student should feel comfortable and inspired by their teacher.
Make sure your instructor is knowledgeable about dance and that they love teaching.
