I'm located in Queens and specialize in guitar, piano, bass guitar, music theory, and drum lessons. I offer both lessons online and in person. All in person lessons will be myself traveling to you. And online lessons will be only for guitar, bass, and music theory. My philosophy: if it's not fun, don't do it. About Me Hi, I’m James — a multi-instrumentalist and experienced music educator with over 7 years of teaching experience. I specialize in guitar, bass, piano, drums, music production, and songwriting. From 2018–2022, I taught music in schools and privately, working with students of all ages and skill levels, both in-person and online. For me teaching music is more about inspiring, passing the spark of passion, helping to grow, showing what is possible and helping to get there, helping to realize the potential that is already inside the student. Technical skills are important but they are not the most important, technique should serve the musical vision (doesn't matter how old is the student) One of my drums teacher told me once: "Do not play drums, play music (with the drums)" and that is what I'm passing to my students.
