Hi there and thanks for stopping by my page! My name is Ben and I'm ready to help take your passion for music and turn it into something you can be proud of. I'm located in Queens and specialize in guitar, piano, bass guitar, music theory, and drum lessons. I offer both lessons online and in person. All in person lessons will be myself traveling to you. And online lessons will be only for guitar, bass, and music theory. My philosophy: if it's not fun, don't do it. My aim is to make sure you feel like you're enjoying music, developing skills, and learning all at the same time!

About Me Hi, I’m James — a multi-instrumentalist and experienced music educator with over 7 years of teaching experience. I specialize in guitar, bass, piano, drums, music production, and songwriting. From 2018–2022, I taught music in schools and privately, working with students of all ages and skill levels, both in-person and online. My teaching style is student-centered and practical: I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, whether that’s playing their first song, improving technique, writing original music, or diving into recording and production. I’m also a working songwriter with nearly 50 original tracks under my belt, so I know what

Sabrina M. says, "David is one the most wonderful teachers I’ve had. He adjusts his teaching style as you progress to align with exactly what you need to understand how to play whatever it is you’re working on. The amount of kindness and patience he has shown me over our lessons is priceless. He takes the time to choose music that not only suits you but helps you progress. He is caring and strives to help you reach your goals and invent new ones! I highly recommend him as a teacher, and will continue to take lessons from him as long as he is willing to teach me! With over ten years of training and performance experience we offer accessible knowledge and artistry of the Swedish-Italian School of singing. Applying Old World training to contemporary genres ensures a solid foundation on which the student can build a music career or simply explore a passion. This technique easily translates into a vocally responsible study of Pop/Rock/R&B/Musical Theatre and Opera. As an actor and director since the age of 16 my private acting coachings can help you feel confident in your work for an upcoming audition, scene study or job. As a proud student of the Matthew Corozine Studio I have every confidence in intr

I tailor my instruction to each students unique needs. Watching someone grow. Plenty of people talk about doing things and making changes but it is truly refreshing to see students who actually take time to do the work and make strides in their playing.

I absolutely recommend Shak as a drumming coach. He is extremely friendly and personable. I have played drums in the past but overtime had forgotten certain things and wanted to brush up on them. He was able to pinpoint what I needed to work on and as well as what my strengths were. Overall a great lesson and would definitely book another in the very near future.

When I arrived to my first lesson, I walked into the studio while my teacher was playing and I was intimidated. But as soon as we started my lesson, my nerves dissipated. Eldon is such a good teacher. He pushes your limits while also encouraging you to have fun and loosen up. I look forward to every session and I already noticed I'm getting more confident behind the kit.

David is an extremely talented musician and teacher. His passion for music is obvious and he seems to know (and enjoy!) so many different genres of music. He is an extremely patient and adept teacher, who makes the material accessible without compromising on thoroughness. I really appreciated that, even though I was a novice and kind of a slacker student, he always kept me to a high standard and consistently pushed me to improve my form and technique. He is also funny, kind, and super chill. I can’t recommend him enough!
