Hola! Hello! I'm from Argentina and I've been teaching Spanish for over 5 years. I have a BA in Spanish Language and Literature and a TESOL certificate. My classes are fun and interactive. They are based on the language learning communicative approach in which the student starts improving his Spanish speaking skills on his very first day of class. I have experience teaching middle and high school, college students and adults.I encourage, I model, and give continuous feedback. I see mistakes as opportunities to learn and take advantage of as many chances as possible to provide cultural information giving a context and enriching the learning process. Maya's accent reduction classes are great! I'm already fluent in Spanish but as a professional interpreter I realized I had the need to reduce my accent so I could speak a clear Neutral Spanish. I particularly have had difficulties pronouncing the R and RR. After 1 month taking Maya's classes I can perceive a huge difference in my pronunciation and accent.
