I teach all ages and levels. My classes are creative, fun, and practical. I bring the Spanish experience to you, and you become fluent by studying the 'whole language'...read, speak, listen, watch, laugh, dance, and love in Spanish! Because a language is so much more than words. ¡Olé!
I custom design Summer Camps for kids and teens.
I coordinate home-stays and intensive Spanish courses in Spain.
After teaching for over 20 years, in Spain, the UK, and the US; I'm still having a blast connecting with my students, learning from them, and walking this amazing journey together.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Have an inicial conversation to figure out what kind of learner he/she is, and then custom design the class for that student or group of students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm also a Translator and an Interpreter.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$60 an hour, in-person and on-line (via Zoom), $75 an hour, in-home. One hour minimum.
How did you get started teaching?
In the 80's in my beach hometown in Spain, with North Europeans senior citizens that have retired there, their relatives, and tourists (remember that Europeans take a month vacation).
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages (0-100...), levels, and walks of life; from a Filipino priest, to an exotic dancer, to an accountant, to a doctor, to a College student, to a rock star...I guess the question should be: 'what type of student I haven't work with?'
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm currently teaching two beginer Holistic Spanish comunity classes, one for aduts and one for kids, at the dowtown Jersey City public library.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go with your gut feeling. If it feels right, you'll feel inspired and learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be clear about your goals, and ask the teacher how they can be achieve. The student and the teacher need to work as a team.
