I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and Journalism from Rutgers University and a Master's Degree in Foreign Language Education from the University of Granada in Spain. What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I would get to know the student first and determine his/her learning style. Afterwards, we would set up a plan to help the student achieve his/her goals. Besides, I would work on finding out the student’s proficiency level as well.

I have over 17 years of teaching experience and several graduate degrees. I’ve been a statewide conference presenter and a high achiever as well.

I charge between 50$-65$ per lesson due to all of my years of experience and several graduate degrees. My qualifications and experience will help you reach all of your goals.


How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching in 2003 when I graduated from college. Then, I completed all of my graduate degrees while working. I’ve collaborated with teachers and professors throughout my teaching career.


What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with K-12 students and have tutored some college students as well.


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would advise the student to look for someone with vast experience and qualifications. Teachers with many years of experience know different methods to reach all learning styles. Besides, they would work around better to fit the student’s needs because they have the experience to do so.

Students should ask:

What is my main goal?

How long until I can achieve my goal?

How much am I willing to invest in order to reach my goal?

Is this person qualified enough to help me achieve my goals?

Do I think my goals are attainable?

Can the teacher help me attain them?
