My name is Emilia and I am a certified teacher with 30+ years of teaching experience both in Spanish and in English as I am fully bilingual in both languages.
I have worked with young children up to adults... with younger students second language learning and subjects such as reading and writing and with adults primarily Conversational English and Spanish.
For so many years teaching has been my passion and not only my profession. Now retired, I am eager to help others learn by making the process significant....putting what you learn into use!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First of all it's important to evaluate the student's previous knowledge in order to best prepare tutoring classes for that specific student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's in Education (done in Mexico)...many other courses related to education...was a teacher in a a K-12th grade bilingual school for more than 20 years and head principal of another K-12 bilingual school for several years.
