What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always take time to talk before we start lessons to understand what is the students's needs. Every student has a different prospective and goal. Knowing that is music to me to navigate them to right direction.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$100 per 1 hour when I come to students.
$70 per 1 hour / $50 per 40 min for online & my music atudio (Forest Hills NY). $250 per week ($900 per month deal) unlimited lessons as long as our schedules works (guarantee 3 hours lessons per week).
What types of students have you worked with?
Any ages and any levels. I have worked with atudnets who have their own goals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say, you have to find the teacher for YOU. It is not about area or price. When you find the teacher you really like, and enjoy the lessons, that is only the way it works for long term. (Hope it is me for you, however it may be someone else!)
