About this pro

My mission: To nurture the game of Golf by coaching people towards their personal goals, swing development, maximum potential, and pure love of the sport through the PGA Experience of excellence and FUN.

Level 1 PGA apprentice at Dyker Beach Golf Club. I'm a golfer / athlete who gets along really well with a wide variety of human beings. I'm also an excellent communicator so conveying advice and drills to my students can be really fun and enhance your abilities. Golf is a simple game that takes a lot of mental focus and understanding. Explaining the game in a way you can understand makes me happy as a teacher. Seeing you shave strokes off your rounds using the ideas we talk about and drills we do during lessons makes me a proud instructor.

Geographically, I serve Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, parts of Long Island within reason, and Staten Island, the Bronx and NJ for an extra gas and toll fee. Be sure to mention where you need the lessons in your request or else requests will be passed.

My lesson plans are specialized. First we will analyze your personal game and extract what exact issues you need working on the most. Based on your needs and goals, we will do various drills interspersed with constant tips and corections to your swing and approach. The curriculum we cover is based on the PGA Experience for the fundamentals of golf.  The lessons are built around improving all areas of your game with focused attention to your weaknesses. Whether it's distance off the tee, accuracy on approaches or better putts around the green, I can help with specific work to make you better based on your unique needs.

You have the option of working on specific parts of your game with me such as putting, chipping, sand shots or driving. Locations could be at the driving range, at the practice greens or elsewhere. Another option would be to play an entire round with me as your caddie and swing coach. This option would be the most in depth and lead to the greatest improvement in your game. In this scenario I will ride along and take shots with you analyzing what you need to think about and plan for in order to execute the correct shot given the circumstances.

For pure beginers, ask about my 4 week intro to golf half hour specials.

I will be available to you day and night via email, phone or text in order to make sure you are doing the right things off the course so your improvements remain in tact over the span of our lessons.

I love all people. Helping them enrich their golf game is a joy for me.

How did you get started teaching?

I've always been a natural instructor.

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with all types of students, from beginer all the way up to advanced, I have advice, tips and drills for every level player. From swing thoughts, to course management to ball flight science, I'm able to provide you with the information about yourself and the game that will elevate you to the next level.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

On my recent visit to the PGA Learning center in Port. St. Lucie,  I was able to play the DYE, WANNAMAKER and RYDER courses at the PGA Village. All championship courses... incredible experiences. Love to tall you about it at our first lesson.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is your level of play? When is the last time you hit a golf ball? What part of your game do you feel needs the most work? What club are the most comfortable hitting? What other sports do you or have you played? What level of fitness would you say you are? What are your goals for your game now and in the future?
