I love all people. Helping them improve their golf game is a joy for me.
I get a total rush seeing my pupils advance.
I'm a level 2 PGA Associate here at the Metropolitan PGA in New York City.
In season, I teach at The Junior Golf Center in Brooklyn. I've been worshipping the game over 25 years. I love it and would be honored to help impart it's joy to you.
Text, email, or call me to schedule a lesson or ask me any question(s) you may have.
My rate is $200/hr.
I work with all levels.
We can also meet at Aviator Golf Range or Junior Golf Center.
If FURTHER travel is required for me, rates will be different.
Off season, I can offer short game lessons in my Park Slope home studio or simulation sessions at 5 Iron Golf in Manhattan (different rates apply for that.) If you have private access to a simulator, that would be ideal.
Thanks for reaching out.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My lesson plans are specialized. First we will analyze your personal game and extract what exact issues you need working on the most. Based on your needs, we will do various drills interspersed with constant mental tips. The curriculum we cover is based on a handbook for the fundamentals of golf which I wrote based on years of knowledge and research. The lessons will be built around improving all areas of your game with focused attention to your weaknesses. Whether it's distance off the tee, accuracy on approaches or better putts around the green, I can help with specific work to make you better based on your unique needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started teaching?
I've always been a natural instructor.
Level 2 PGA apprentice at Junior Golf Center Brooklyn. I'm a golfer / athlete who gets along really well with a wide variety of human beings. I'm also an excellent communicator so conveying advice and drills to my students can be really fun and enhance your abilities. Golf is a simple game that takes a lot of mental focus and understanding. Explaining the game in a way you can understand makes me happy as a teacher. Seeing you shave strokes off your rounds using the ideas we talk about and drills we do during lessons makes me a proud instructor.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all types of students, from beginer all the way up to advanced, I have advice, tips and drills for every level player. From swing thoughts, to course management, to ball flight science, I'm able to provide you with the information about yourself and the game that will elevate you to the next level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
On my recent visit to the PGA Learning center in Port. St. Lucie, I was able to play the DYE, WANNAMAKER and RYDER courses at the PGA Village. All championship courses... incredible experiences. Love to tell you about it at our first lesson.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You have the option of working on specific parts of your game with me such as putting, chipping, sand shots, iron play, or driving. Locations could be at the driving range, at the practice greens or elsewhere. Another option would be to play an entire round with me as your caddie and swing coach. This option would be the most in depth and lead to the greatest improvement in your game. In this scenario I will ride along and take shots with you analyzing what you need to think about and plan for in order to execute the correct shot given the circumstances.
I will be available to you day and night via email, phone or text in order to make sure you are doing the right things off the course so your improvements remain in tact over the span of our lessons.
I use video analysis after the lesson to highlight issues we need to work on most.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your level of play? When is the last time you hit a golf ball? What part(s) of your game do you feel needs the most work? What/which club(s) are you most comfortable hitting? What other sports do you or have you played? What level of fitness would you say you are? Are you dealing with an injuries? Do you know what the 15th club is? What are your goals for your game now and in the future?
