Thompson Golf Lessons

I first picked up a golf club at the age of 7. Ralph Wise, the last professional caddy of the first American golfer to play in the U.S. Open in 1896, John shippen, taught me how to play the game. I have since instructed everyone from beginners to novice golfers for the Plainfield Department of Recreation. I also coached Jr. Golfers under the award-winning teaching pro Bill Castner. If you'd like to learn the game, pick up and learn a fun sport that is social distance friendly, or take your swing to the next level, I'm your guy! The game of golf is amazing in that it's the only sport you can truly play forever. I've helped children as young as 8 develop their swings and coached those as old as 90! You don't have to be super athletic or amazingly skilled to enjoy this game. It's a great time for those who want to be competitive but may have long passed their organized sports years or those who just want to meet new people and take in nature. I love introducing people to this wonderful sport.
