What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually have a simple conversation to asses the level then i give a short test with simple questions. Is important to asses how the student leans and what are their interest.

I was an interpreter and a private tutor besides being a librarian

I have some books but i adapt to the student way of learning each person is different and is important to see what motivates the student to learn

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a conversation with a women from Turkey in ladino which is a form of old spanish that was preserved over time by the jews tbat left Spain in 1492. I was amazed of how the language has been preserved after so many centuries
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To learn a new language is a great adventure for the mind and the spirit.
