Chris Cascio Golf Instruction

I am a professional golfer and instructor. I have been coaching and giving private lessons for the past 20+ years. I also coach boys and girls varsity golf teams in a school district on Long Island for the past 15 years. I’ve played in many state opens including the Long Island open, New York State open, New Hampshire open, and US open qualifiers. My students range from children to adults and beginners to advanced players. I also give exercises and stretches depending on the players capabilities if they want to improve their body as well to help their golf swing.

I am committed to helping students achieve a greater enjoyment of the game. Strong emphasis is placed on the importance of pre-swing fundamentals. Educating clients on the hows and whys is fundamental to my swing philosophy.

Everyone has different swings and different levels of flexibility so I teach them the swing that will fit them best, but there are fundamentals that all good golfers and professionals on tour have in common and I make sure my students are taught the same. I also simplify their swing thoughts so they are only focusing on one or two when they are hitting the ball so there is less tension and more confidence in every swing.

Swing development requires practice along with professional guidance to keep students on the path to better golf. Practicing correctly, with prescribed swing drills will help attain a more repeatable, consistent golf swing to help lower your scores and make the game much more fun and enjoyable.
