I am the 2015 PGA Metropolitan SectionTeacher of the Year and listed among Golf Digest's Best Teachers in State. I operate the only golf academy in the lower Manhattan area of the financial district. Within walking distance of 12 subway trains, near the World Trade Center and accessible from all borurghs and New Jersey. Climate controlled environmnet with one on one teaching in a beautiful studio with a High DefinitionGolf simulator. Equipment supplied for both RH and LH players.
I enjoy assisting a player identify their goals in both the short term and long term and then devising a plan to meet those goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first determine what the person's goals are in both the short term (3-6 months) and the long term (6-18 months). I will then assess the the person's game and create a plan to achieve the desired goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Senior Certified Instructor in AimPoint Green Reading; Blast Certified and SAM Puttlab certified in technology. Previous Director of Golf Digest Schools with decades of teaching experience. Golf Digest and Golf Magazine Best in State and Best id Northeast Region.

I offer individual lessons and packages which are available to all students and provide students with extreme flexibility in booking their lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching during my PGA Aprrenticeship. I found teaching to be the most interesdting facet of the golf industry and have always been fascinated with the learning process.
What types of students have you worked with?
My roster of students includes children, women and men of all aability levels. From beginners to professional players I have a wide range of talent levels that I work with.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was at the PGA Championship at Baltusrol and had the opportunity to worjk with a few tour caddies with both AimPoint and then with the players on their putting.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Understand the process of learning and the time it takes to create changes in patterns of motor behavior. As a RH person if oyu attemted to do things LH this would be an example of a different pattern of motor behavior.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should decide on what it is they they want to achieve in both the short term and the long term and then put together a plan that will reach their goals.
