What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the first lesson we talk and I evaluate the student's level, interests, and areas for improvement. Then from class to class we introduce new topics, work on common errors, and explore cultural topics to understand social context and communication.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained in Second-Language Acquisition by the Center for Language Studies at Yale University. I have been teaching foreign languages to students of all ages (young children to adults of higher and continuing education) since 2007.
