I've been teaching for 30 years my grandmother was my mentor and teacher before she sent me on to study more in depth with another teacher from Eastman and then College. I taught side by side w my grandmother from 1984 until 2010. Our family is well known and respected in the Rochester community. My son played many sports and I feel it is important for students to be involved in other activities...sports musicals and community work. I always juggle the Sched when necessary so they can do it all. I enjoy it all, every student, every age Teaching brings me much joy and happiness....

Welcome! I am a recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music having completed my master's in Jazz Performance. I completed my undergraduate degrees at SUNY Fredonia in both Jazz Studies as well as Music Education. I have my initial certification from New York State in Music K-12 and have taught all ages of students (9 - 82) ranging from beginners to students pursuing music at the university level. I have always loved teaching and it has been something that I am extremely passionate about.
