Uno,Dos,Tres,..Let's Talk !!!

With a background in Science but loving art among other disciplines, my strong desire of going out from my home (Chile) to see with my own eyes the rest of the world was bigger than the pain of missing what I was leaving behind me when far away from home.

My first stop was at Spain, and what I learnt from my classmates and friends from countries I never thought I will share years of school together it was priceless. We were about 22 students/Class coming half from the Mediterranean, half from South/Central/North America and Europe. The diversity among us was astonishing, and I believe I learnt tons more from the coffee breaks with them than in years of readings. Later, I decided to come to the USA (I am still here), and it has been a rich experience in many aspects. I am grateful with life and my family for this opportunity of growing knowledge about other places, people, and traditions through my own experiences.

I am confident to say that when you share your passions/interests with people around you, it is always good, regardless of the language that you speak with them. Doubtless, when you can understand their feelings in their language is even better. I am grateful with the ones that gave me courage to talk in English when I came to the US, and one of my goals is to help those who care for improving their Spanish through my conversation meetings at Uno,Dos,Tres,Let’s Talk !!! I assure to you, you will get so much more if you talk with native people in their own language. You will get their jokes, comments, and you will appreciate their inner thoughts. You may have English translators at Conferences, or an English guide at your tourism trip, but if you know by yourself what is said around you...you will get immersed in the new culture in a way you will forever keep in your heart.
