Hailing from cornfields of Canton, Ohio, Aaron made his roundabout-way to Portland, Oregon in 2007. He made many stops along the way from studying art at Atlanta College, to doing museum paintings in New Oreleans, to Austin living out of his car in true struggling artist form, to a quick jaunt to Alaska before landing in San Francisco. Here he returned to his fine art education there studying under brilliant artists and having his own art featured in local galleries and going on to teach on the college level. My experience with painting has been my whole life; both of my parents are painters. I teach in a very inclusive, dialogue kind of way. I want everyone to participate and communicate, however I realize that some people are on the shy side. I am very open to all personalities and all kinds of people expressing themselves they want to through their art. Everyone has something say, I want their voice to be heard.
