Poetic Motion

Stas is a brilliant, inspiring world-class instructor, and taking his class is a must for any dance lovers. He has his own unique method, which allows students to learn several dances with similar steps simultaneously, and when you leave each class being able to dance 5-6 dances you never knew you could, it feels incredibly empowering. As a teacher, Stas is meticulous, patient, encouraging, allowing sufficient time for review and practice in each class. But it is more than technique that makes his classes stand out. Stas truly created a community, the community where everybody feels welcome regardless of ones level. Above all, his classes constantly remind you that teaching is art and dance is a miracle.

My husband and I started taking lessons from Stas in early May and hes got us absolutely addicted. We even bought shoes! Stas has a great and inviting teaching style that appeals to both men and women. We are continuing to learn new steps each class and improve the ones we already have. We look forward to years of lesson with Stas.

Stas is a brilliant instructor! Not only does he care for his students, he constantly strives to help them become better dancers. He has exceptional knowledge and training in Standard, Latin, American Smooth, Rhythm, and specialty dances that he expertly uses in a relatable fashion, which makes learning enjoyable.

I have been dancing with Stas for just over a year and won’t ever takes lessons with anyone else! He is top notch! It is rare to find someone with genuine talent, humility, passion, and love for what he does and who he teaches.

Stas pays attention to the couples around him and knows when to gently guide those who are confused or are struggling with a step.

We go through several dances learning the similarities of steps from dance to dance and practice enough to start having muscle memory.

He always does a review of what we have learned at the end of each session.

Stas is so positive and encouraging. He is very patient and kind and truly cares about the students he is teaching.
