As an instructor, I am just as invested in your golf game as you are. Throughout our lesson series, it will be my job to analyze your swing and create personalized instruction that is created specifically for your golf game. Before the lessons begin, you will receive an online questionnaire that has questions related to your game. This allows me to have a full understanding of your current games that I can deliver you the most efficient lessons. You will then have access to the instructional videos that I send you, as well as access to personalized practice plans that are designed to help you achieve the goals of our lessons.
I’ve had a large amount of experience teaching golf all cross the United States of America. Whether it be public or high end private facilities, I have had the pleasure of working in both environments.
As a traditional golfer I realize online lessons may be a little intimidating. However, with online lessons being only a fraction of the cost of traditional lessons, it’s easy to see that online lessons are an affordable way to improve your golf game at an efficient pace.
I take pride in being a golf instructor and my goal is to become one of the top instructors in the country. I enjoy attending teaching & coaching seminars, as well as reading books that talk about golf instruction and how students learn.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Step 1: A student decides whether they would like to meet for an in-person lesson, or if they would like to use the Skillest platform for an online lesson.
Step 2: The student and I begin to talk about the student's goals, while ensuring that these goals are reasonable and attainable. "I want to lower my score by 30 strokes after this lesson is over" is an example of an unreasonable score.
Step 3: The student submits their swings on the Skillest app or demonstrates their abilities in person while I determine the beginnnig steps to achieving the student's goal.
Step 4: The student and I work on the needed changes in order to achieve the students goals that they determined before the lesson started.
Step 5: The student recieves a personalized practice plan with drills that are custom to the students progression path and how often they are able to practice.
Step 6: The student gets better at golf.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a student of the PGA of America, recieving my PGA membership in the fall of 2022. I am getting the most up to date information when it comes to teaching, while working alongside some of the smartest teaching professionals in the United States. I have had exensive experience teaching indivuduals at high-end private country clubs, public facilities and online. I am a certified titleist club fitting instructor, Trackman certified, and ADM certified.

How did you get started teaching?
I love to teach the game of golf. It is my true passion to assist others so that they may enjoy the game as much as I do.
I got started teaching golf after enrolling in the Professional Golf Management Program at New Mexico State University.
From there, I began to teach free of charge to enhance my teaching abilities. This allowed me to gain extensive experience in the teaching world since most individuals won't turn down a free golf lesson. I have since began to charge for lessons, however this is only to help pay for my continued education with the PGA of America and to enroll myself into teaching seminars and certification courses.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students that range from absolute beginners to advanced golfers. No matter what skill level, we can work on your game!
If you are shooting 110, I can get you shooting 100.
If you are shooting 100, I can get you shooting 90.
If you are shooting 90, I can get you shooting 80.
From there, I am sure you know that it takes more extensive practice and determination to lower your scores. However we can get you playing better in no time.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Throughout the summer, I instruct an Operation 36 kids clinic. It is so much fun working with the kids and seeing all the fresh faces being exposed to the game of golf. Being able to teach them and see them enjoy the game is a great feeling.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who is willing to put time into your lessons. It is very easy to find a coach who gives you information but doesn't take time to get to know you as a student. The more comfortable you are with your instructor, the more effectively you will learn the material. You also need an instructor who knows how to correctly identify your skill level, and choose the correct path that will lead to efficient learning.
