Dongyoung Jake Shim gained international recognition most recently winning a prize at the 2022 Zhuhai International Mozart Competition in Zhuhai, China. After winning 1st Prize and Bach Prize at the 2020 Stulberg International String Competition in Michigan, United States, he won a prize at the 2020 Irving M. Klein International String Competition in San Francisco, United States. Dongyoung was also one of the Laureates at the 2020 J. S. Bach Competition. Now, I teach from beginning to late-intermediate levels, from ages 5 to adult.
