As a beginning golfer, Kevin is the perfect professional. Patient, clear & concise, measured and great pace - just a perfect teacher. Deserves his reputation as the best pro in Lancaster!

First lesson with Mr. McNece. Very engaging teacher and professional. Clearly explains not only the techniques, but the reasons why or why not something works. I have signed up for another lesson and highly recommend him to others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Interview client get to know how they learn and let them know how I teach so that we can do what  we need to do to reach their goals

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a graduate from the San Diego golf Academy I have been a PGA Member for over 25 years. I attend teaching seminars and workshops every year to stay current on the latest methods and how to implement them with clients needs

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$40 per half hour

$100 for 9 hole playing lesson

How did you get started teaching?

I tried qualifying for the PGA tour in 1984 and  did not get my tour card and I needed to find a job so I became a golf professional instead of a professional golfer. I needed to supplement my income so teaching was one of the ways to accomplish this

What types of students have you worked with?

Anywhere from 5-93 years old male female children and also the Blind Institute they taught me a whole different approach to teaching

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Seeing one of my junior golfers be the only qualifier in our section for the state tournament this year and getting a nice scholarship to one of the local universities

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Take a lesson see if you can communicate effectively with each other then be ready to work

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Wheather or not they are willing to put in the time to make the necessary changes it doesn't happen in 30 minutes most of the time
