About

Alejandro Russo is a professional clarinetist and private lesson teacher based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He received his Master's Degree from Duquesne University (M.M - Clarinet Performance), where he studied with Clarinetist Ron Samuels of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. His Bachelor's is from the University of South Florida (B.M - Clarinet Performance), where he studied with Principal Clarinetist Brian Moorhead of The Florida Orchestra and Bass Clarinetist Calvin Falwell of the Sarasota Orchestra.

Alejandro has played and performed with the top ensembles of both Duquesne University and the University of South Florida, The Florida Orchestra, and various honors ensembles and international festivals including performances at the Florida Music Education Association Conference '20 and attendance at the Clazz International Music Festival in Arcidosso, Italy, '18 and '19. He has extensive experience with orchestral excerpts, audition prep, and solo repertoire.

I really do love to be a part of a musical ensemble, where every single person is working together in unison and reacting to one another to create a single, beautiful experience for an audience. It is an incredibly unique experience to have and one that I hope help others achieve.
