About

“Five Star Guitar Instructor in Charleston, SC”

With 40 years of experience as a guitar instructor, I bring a deep passion for teaching to every lesson. My extensive background allows me to understand and adapt to each student’s unique learning style, ensuring personalized and effective instruction. Over the years, I’ve mastered genres and techniques, which I eagerly share with my students.

From the first lesson, we will start learning songs that the student wants to learn.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching career is witnessing the joy and accomplishment a student feels when they successfully learn a song they love for the first time. I am patient, encouraging, and dedicated to creating a positive and creative learning environment where students can thrive. My goal is to help them build confidence, achieve their musical aspirations, and enjoy every step of their musical journey.

He made the lessons fun to complete, while showing me the guitar basics. Im not sure that songwriting is something I can do, but maybe he can teach me this too.

When I was still in school, some younger classmates asked me if I would teach them.

After several years of giving free lessons, I thought it would be a great way to earn money while doing something I loved.

I have taught students from 7 yrs old to over 70 yrs of age. It is never too late to learn to play the guitar.

I recently finished teaching a very gifted student. He was really into learning and would practice 15-20 hours a week.

When he started, he did not know a single chord and at his last lesson, I felt like he had reached the limits that I could teach him.

it is very hard to let a student go, but he was ready to go out on his on.

Give them a call and speak to them in person
What is the best time length for a lesson? How flexible is the instructor? What type of Music you want to learn.
