I had a great time learning from Cole. Cole's down to earth nature and deep musical understanding made me feel comfortable and encouraged on my own path learning the guitar. I really appreciated Cole's emphasis on creativity and openness as a mindset, even while we were working steadily and calmly on fundamentals. Kat is excellent with teaching younger to older students! My daughter took lessons with her for a few months. Unfortunately we moved, so we couldn’t continue with lessons since we only wanted to do in person! But she was fantastic!

Both my sons take drum lessons from Lael. He was recommended to us by a local music teacher. They absolutely love it. They have learned so much and look forward to their lesson each week. I've been a student for a few years now and my guitar playing has improved tremendously. Before lessons, I touched my guitar once in a blue moon. Now I get restless if I go a few days without playing. I have learned a lot about the fretboard and music theory, which has given me the confidence to not only learn more songs, but try things beyond what's written in the tabs, as well as learn songs by ear and try out improvising and soloing. It's clear that Ryan is passionate about teaching guitar, and I appreciate that he encourages me to step out of my comfort zone. I recommend taking lessons if you want to hold yourself accountable and gain a deeper understanding of guitar.
