About
I provide a very student centered approach. We will look at your long term and short term goals and develop a plan to achieve them. This starts with looking at the current state of your game, your strengths and weaknessess.
I have helped many players develop their game and play on college teams. I have been teaching for 16 years and have the equipment and knowledge to help anyone improve.
My greatest success has been to help golfers get over the yips, become great putters and enjoy the game again.
I enjoy helping students improve, which increases their enjoyment playing golf. Ideally, the student will learn about their strenths and weaknesses, address the weaknesses, and understand their tendencies.
I enjoy helping students understand how best to capitalize on their abiliities.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by learning about their physical history, any issues that might affect their golf swing. Next, I learn about YOUR goals. Why are you taking lessons? How good do you want to get? What is your time frame? With that information, we can determine a time frame and set goals that will result in a very positive experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Class A member of the LPGA. As a teaching professional, I have taken many classes that deal with the physical and psychological aspects of the student. From beginners to elite golfers, both areas need development and strenghthening for optimum results.
I am a First Tee Master Coach. This is an extensive process that also covers teaching and motivation, especially as it relates to children. By learning to better communicate with young people, developed my skills to better communicate with all ages.
Additionally, I have received training on Adaptive Golf and have launched programs for individuals with physical disabilities and traumatic brain injuries.
I have students from 4 years old to 70 years old. Golf is truly a game for life.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50.00 for 30 minutes,$100.00 for 1 hour. 5 lesson package available.
How did you get started teaching?
I took lessons while developing my game and worked to play on the mini tours (Players West Tour and Futures Tour). It is while taking lessons that I developed a fascination with the various aspects of the game and how I needed things explained to me. I left the mini tour in 2000 and started working at a golf course. I gave private lessons, joined the LPGA T&CP, took the classes and tests required to become a Class A
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students: children, adults, elderly, disabled (wheelchair, blind, amputee, stroke, deaf)
The main thing is to give instruction in a way that the student can easily grasp.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Talk with the teacher and be comfortable with them. You will enjoy your lesson if your teacher is someone with whom you can develop a rapport.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should know what they want to achieve, what their goals are, in relation to golf. They also should know how much time they have available to put in to their game.
