Joshua has been a musician for over nineteen years and has been teaching for ten. He is an award winning composer, critical thinker, and an straight-forward teacher. Joshua has a high standards for his students and himself. Joshua has studied Suzuki method under Dr. Paula Bird for four years and has taught 100's of students. I am very passionate about the arts and teaching. I find it extremely exciting and rewarding to be a part of a student's musical journey and growth. I am dedicated to teaching each student with care and respect and it is my utmost priority to satisfy the student's needs and potential. My ultimate goal is to help the student discover, excel, and reach their artistic and life goals. I am open to teaching via online and in person and I can speak fluent Korean as well.

I have classical training but I play and teach all genres. I rock, I fiddle, I improvise, I still do classical too. My teacher training is in Suzuki method, but I've developed my own approach to help students learn whatever styles they want. Get good technique, good practice habits, some theory knowledge, and you can do whatever you want with this instrument! Girl Guitar offers group classes for women in guitar, songwriting, and various full band experiences with community and performances built in. Private lessons are available for men and women over 21.
