We have been described as a "Premier Concierge Dance Studio." That means we offer in-home lessons where we travel to you, in addition to traditional studio lessons where you travel to where we teach. Another unique aspect is instead of owning a big studio and having to charge big prices, we rent from multiple studios throughout Tarrant County and pass the savings on to you! Because of our training and background, we can proudly offer one of the most competetive rates in DFW while having quality found at any major chain school.
We teach over 30 different dances in four basic categories: Ballroom, Swing, Street Latin, and Country-Western. For a full list of dances we teach, visit our website.
We personalize every program. No cookie cutter learning here. You will be given suggestions and guidelines that work best for your goals. For example, if you want to dance socially we would reccomend a variety of dances to cover different genres of music to ensure the only time you would be sitting down is from being tired from all the dancing you're doing and not because you only know one dance!
Also unlike other schools we don't do the lengthy, six- to eight-month expensive contracts. People today like working with a monthly budget and feel comfortable with it. So while it certainly takes longer than a month to learn a dance, we don't ask for the money upfront. You can pay as you go each month, like your cell phone bill, contract free!
Ordinary people doing extraordinary things!
I am really enjoying my classes with Matt. I am specifically studying with him for my dance trip to Argentina but will continue with him when I return and would highly recommend him to other people
Matt is an excellent instructor! He makes every client feel comfortable and gives you his undivided attention. He is knowledgeable not only about each dance you are learning, but also how to break it down so that you can best learn.
Matt makes dancing so approachable for anyone. He knows dance and he is a patient, kind and fun loving teacher. We highly recommend him!!!!
Private lessons are awesome with Marina. Matt and Marina do an incredible job with their dance parties!
We discuss goals over the phone, set estimated expectations and disclose all costs ahead of time. Most studios these days have an "Introductory Special," then raise the rates on you once you're hooked. We give your budget peace of mind by being cheaper than the big studios and keeping it at a flat rate.
On the first lesson we will evaluate your skillset to give an accurate estimate on the time it will take to acheive your goals. (Wedding dances take 4-6 lessons on average, while fancier movies like lifts or tricks will be closer to ten lessons. Learning to socially dance for events takes 4-8 months taking lessons once a week, etc.)
If you are new, you will begin a foundation on your goalset.
If you have experience, you WILL NOT start over. Thats a huge complaint in the dance world. We will work with you at the level you are!
Single private lesson rate is $110 for an hour, as that is DFW's industry average for most studios for only 45 minute-long lessons after completing any discount programs or coupons.
We discourage buying one lesson at a time as nothing can be guarenteed to be learned in a lasting fashion. Like a language or a sport, dance takes time and lots of repetition, so we give a discount for buying four lessons or more at a time.
When you purchase four or more, the rate is $75 per hour.
Compare that to most studios' rate of $110 for 45 minutes.
Us: Buy four, get them for $75 per lesson, each lasting an hour!
We started out as a private student of a small Irish family!
We began dancing socially and people started asking to learn how to dance the "way" we did it, our "style". So there it began, we started teaching privately, then wanting to grow our knowledge, worked for several different studios. After seeing how it was done, and learning a lot, we felt we could contribute to the community in a unique way, a way that wasn't just about money and an impersonal system. A more personal touch with a more affordable price tag. Daily Dance was born!
About 95% of our students are social dancers. We don't really focus on competition, though we are more than qualified to teach at that level. We enjoy teaching others to have fun, relax and make friends versus working hard to be better than the couple you passed on your way in. We also put on performances a couple times a year. Fun routines to showcase your talent or what you have been working on recently!
We sometimes have get-togethers where a student will host a dinner dance at their home. We will bring food and drinks to match a theme and have a great time! They show something that most dance studios can't say they have in a way. While many make friends, they can't say its like family. We have been there for weddings, having kids, all sorts of life changing events, and your dance family is right there along side with you. We are a business that's not about dance, but people first and foremost. We love people first; then we teach them to love dance.
Most schools are very sales driven. Ask if the price per lesson ever changes. Normally your first package or two will not be the actual price. It normally goes up after you are hooked.
