My name is Ty. I've been golfing since high school and its been my passion ever since. I was self-taught and played golf on a regular with a buddy day after day is how I learned the game. I feel the best approach to teaching is to not try so hard to change ones swing but to use what they have and fine tune it. I can give you a natural self made swing that will generate you results time after time again. We head to the driving range? Or even play 9 holes and you will see much improvement over ther course of the lessons. Working with me will be easy and also fun filling. You'll learn without the stress of trying to remember all the different changes some try to implement into you golf swing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Day-1 Is all about introductions and getting to know one another. Learning from a person you barely know, some tend to not learn or apply what they are taught. But being comfortable around a person one will learn and process much more on a regular.
Then the following days will consist of some fun learning and golf improving times!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everything about me is self-taught. I learned most of what i know by playing with my best buddy and learning on the go. It helped me greatly and I can help you!!!

I charge. 50/Hr and 25 a half hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I use to be an assistant golf pro at a local course near me. I loved helping out with teaching the kids. I have a son thats 4 years old and I love teaching him everyday. He improves with every round we play together.
What types of students have you worked with?
Kids all the way up to elders. You come. I'll teach. You'll learn.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To me it's about being comfortable. So having that first lesson and talking with the person is key to learning and improving your game. Remember all the pros are almost best friends with there teachers. Its more like a family than lessons.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
There end goals! We as teachers will get you there but you need to know your realistic goal before that.
