I am passionate about music education and sharing my love for strings and music with my students. I like to tailor my approach to each student towards what would help them the most in their journey of learning a string instrument.

-I can teach beginners to All State level repertoire -I am a semi-professional player, currently playing with Rockwall Philharmonic Orchestra (Section Violin 1), while juggling a full time finance job. -I recently auditioned and contracted as a Section Violin (1st Violins) role with the Sherman Symphony Orchestra (September 19, 2023) -I also Won a Substitute Role with the Plano Symphony Orchestra (September 9th, 2023) -I have numerous years of experience playing in recitals, stage performances, solo competitions with multiple rounds, and invitations to professional orchestral auditions. Welcome! I am a high schooler in the DWF area that’s has been playing the viola for 7 years and the violin for 6. I have worked with 3 different orchestra, and helped prepare countless students for auditions. I teach mainly using the Suzuki method but vary to suit the students needs.

Edelweiss School of Music, founded in 2015, is a holistic music school located in Plano, Texas, and serves the surrounding areas. The school provides high-quality music lessons for all ages and levels, with teachers holding Master’s or PHD degrees in Music or boasting extensive music education experience. Edelweiss focuses on creating a loving environment for students to become independent learners and integrates multicultural education at the core of its curriculum. The school also hosts two major recitals annually and offers professional recordings and music videos for students who wish to master music performance.

I teach the Suzuki method. But Im flexible esp for older beginners I enjoy teaching in a relaxed athmosphere. I strongly encourage parental involvement and lots of listening,which speeds up the learning process. Reading and theory can be introduced at the same time with a different material than the Suzuki book.Im only available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
