Hello guys my name is Reginald Newton or as my kids affectionately call me “Mrcoachreggie” haha. I picked up a golf club for the first time as a 15 year old in The First Tee and I was hooked instantly! From the beginning I had an immense desire to improve my own game as well introduce it to others and help the improved their games as well. I played 4 years collegiately at Jackson State University and after graduation interned for the PGA of America learning the ins and out of the golf club and teaching industry. In my professional career I have worked as a Head Golf Professional and Program Director for The First Tee in both Tennessee and Dallas. I’d like to think I have a knack for working with students of all ages especially juniors. I really love how teaching combines my two passions: Golf and People. I look forward to helping you reach all your Golf related goals!
